BioWhat's ta be said? Hello, I'm Willie. Willie Loomis. I'm just another nobody in a nothin' sorta town. Collinsport, Maine that is. It's just a few miles west of Bangor. I got myself stuck in this cardboard box of a town when Jason and I swung into Collinwood. My sis got herself into loads of trouble just from taggin' along. But that's another story altogether. Jason, he promised us riches. He promised us jewels; sparkles beyond all our imaginations. So, we went along with it; got ourselves into trouble like nothin' we'd ever known.
No one liked us. Nope. Not even from the start. But I guess I especially deserved it. They didn't need to know much about me. I was a real jerk of a fella, actin' all tough the way I did. I even made the girls at Collinwood hate me. Maggie, too. I'm real sorry about that...
Jason promised I'd get me some money. Lots and lots of it. Riches, as I pointed out in the above. But what did he wind up offerin' me in the end just to see me high-tail it? $500. That's all. Just 500 bucks for my trouble. How were my sister and I s'posed ta split that, anyway? Livin' on $250 each wasn't much like I'd been expecting.
So, I did something about it. I talked to David. It turned out that he knew lotsa things about The Collins History. He even showed me some pictures. Supposedly, he told me, some of the Collinses were buried with their jewelry. What kinda guy would I be to pass up on that kinda opportunity, uh?
So, I made way to the Mausoleum. It was real dark. My sister Annie insisted on taggin' along. I told her not to go! But she did, anyway. That's the way us Loomises have always been. Real stubborn-like.
What happened next changed my life forever. I wound up stumblin' on a secret so big, not even the Collinses had known about it. Their ancestor, Barnabas Collins, was still alive! But he wasn't alive. He was one of the undead. When I opened his coffin, I was all gleeful. But that ain't how I felt when a hand clutched at my throat from within.
Since then, I've been cursed. Cursed as much as Barnabas was, I guess. Now I'm forced to work for him night and day through long, lonely hours. I've lost my sister. She died a few months ago. That means I've got no one to help me, anymore. No one... Will I ever get outta here?
